AttestIn is operated by Altriks. By using AttestIn you agree to these terms and to how we handle information, described in our privacy notice.

What AttestIn does

Students record the work they did and ask the person who supervised it to confirm the facts — the role, the organization, the dates and the hours. A supervisor confirms or declines with one click. Students can then share their confirmed record with an employer or program office.

If you are a student

• Record only work you actually did, with true dates and hours.
• Ask only people who really supervised that work, at the address they use for it. Don’t ask yourself, a friend or a relative to stand in.
• You decide who sees your record. A share link expires, and you can revoke it at any time.
• You can edit an experience until it is confirmed, but not while a request is waiting for an answer. Once confirmed, it can’t be changed.
• You can deactivate an experience or your whole record. Deactivation can’t be undone from your account, and it doesn’t erase what was confirmed.

If you are asked to confirm someone’s experience

• By confirming, you state that the facts shown are accurate to your knowledge. Your name, title and the time are recorded.
• Answer only if you supervised the work. If you can’t confirm it, decline.
• Your answer is final, and the student will see it.

If someone shares a record with you

A record shows facts a supervisor confirmed, and how their address matched the organization. It is information, not a recommendation: AttestIn doesn’t vouch for anyone, and decisions you make from a record are yours.

Misuse

We may refuse or remove an organization, and suspend an account, that is used to fake or mislead. Records of what happened are kept.

No warranty

AttestIn is provided as it is. We work to keep it available and accurate, but we can’t promise it will always be, and we aren’t responsible for what others decide based on a record.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top says when they last changed.
